Our goals are that that we have more then enough food for everyone, that the food served is both frugal & tasty. Finally, we do not want to let any left overs go to waste, so I like to recreate them into new dinners, like tostadas!
- Monday: Turkey w/ Cheese Melt with fruit salad
- Tuesday: Spaghetti with peas garlic bread
- Wednesday: Beans, Rice & homemade cornbread
- Thursday: Meatloaf with mashed potatoes, peas and homemade rolls
- Friday: Duggar Tatter Tot Casserole, peas and homemade rolls
- Saturday: Tostada with Rice & corn
Hoping the Lord Blesses your meal preparation this week!
Do you have a big family and you'd like to share your menu plan or tips on making food last. Please link up here! It can be a new post or an old one just jump in and join the fun. :)

I'm making a blog visit from Organizing Junkie's Menu Plan Monday today.
ReplyDeleteI have lots of chicken in the freezer so I'm always looking for tasty chicken recipes.
It's a sunny and warm day in Las Vegas. I've been living on the West coast for 18 years. It's funny when friends, from Maine, will mention that they're shoveling snow I caught off guard. That's right, you're dealing with snow!
Hope you have a wonderful and delicious week!
I have a small family, but recently have been feeling convicted about allowing leftovers to be tossed out because no one eats them. I also have a pantry full of food, and yet I go grocery shopping. (*SOMEBODY STOP ME!) :) First time visitor!
ReplyDeleteHi AJ! You could try remaking your leftovers...Turn roast into BBQ Beef sandwiches, baked chicken in chicken quesadillas etc...
ReplyDeleteHi Berry Morins! Me too I much prefer the Texas weather. We even get snow occasionally but not enough to have to shovel it!
